Alumni

Kira has been studying dancing since she was 4 years old, and has previously trained in Modern and Street Dance at Arts1 School of Performance. Over the last few years has turned her passion to Contemporary Dance, performing with the InitiateYDC at the 2014 MOTUS Festival. She hopes to incorporate skills of choreography into her ideal future career in directing and producing music videos.

Tayla Roberts

Tayla began her training in Ballet at a young age and has studied dance throughout her academic career, specialising in contemporary dance at secondary school, before moving on to Milton Keynes College to further her studies. She has also trained in Commercial and Hip Hop amd performed with a company called 2step.

Andy has been dancing since the age of 7 and since then has had his mind set on training to be a professional dancer. He has been trained and graded in ISTD exams in dance styles including Tap and Modern, as well as doing weekly classes in Ballet, Contemporary and Commercial dance classes. He is deeply passionate about performing and dance has always been his greatest interest.  His dream is to establish his own Contemporary Dance Company, but he would also love to teach.

Sasha Worthington

Sasha started Ballet lessons at the age of 3 with Anne Hallet at the Bedfordshire School of Dance and Drama, adding Tap to her weekly lessons at the age of 7. Currently Sasha attends Tap and Modern and achieved Distinctions and Merits in these and Advanced 1 Ballet. Having studied Dance at GCSE, Sasha has been part of a number of performance projects over the years, both in and out of school. 

Sam started dancing at the age of 18 months old, and has been performing in dance shows since the age of four. During this time he has attended the Milton Keynes Dance Centre and has been in their shows since 2000. Whilst with the Milton Keynes Dance Centre, Sam has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and Disneyland Paris, as well as Stantonbury Campus Theatre. Sam has had training in Rock ‘n’ Roll, Freestyle Disco, Ballroom, Latin, Ballet and Tap. Sam studied Dance at GCSE, where he got a grade A overall and is currently studying Dance at A Level along with Maths and Science. He hopes to continue his dance studies at university and have career within the area.

George Robinson

Charlie Robinson

George started dancing at the age of 3, taking Ballet initially. AT the age of 5 George moved to the USA, where he imporved and developed his technique in a number of dance styles including Lyrical and Tap, whilst continuing in Ballet. When he was 6 he received a Platnium award for his first competition solo. George currently trains at Arts1 and is looking to further and develop his training. In the future, George hopes to actively performing dance and theatre.  

Jade has been attending dance classes for fun since she could walk, and began to take a serious interest in dance at 14. This is when she began tuition in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Mime. At school she took GCSE dance, which gave her a taste for contemporary. She is now studying dance at A level and intends to study Dance in higher education in the hopes of pursuing a career in professional dance, choreography and/or teaching. Jade is an all-round performer; she takes theatre studies at A level, is often in musicals, plays guitar and piano and takes singing lessons (currently training for grade eight), however dance is her main passion.

Jade Stevens

 

Luke currently studies A-level dance at Wootton Upper School after receiving an A at GCSE. Whilst at Wootton he has performed as part of the gifted and talented company Aspire, having previously been part of another school dance company - Direction. He train at Arts1 weekly, in contemporary and when he isn’t dancing he’s taking part in the martial art Tae Kwon Do, in which he has achieved a second degree black belt.

Charlie is very passionate about dance and has trained in a number of different styles for many years. In the past she has trained and competed in Dance in the USA before returning to the UK. She currently attends classes in Tap, Jazz, Modern and Contemporary as well as taking private singing lessons. Charlie sees her passion for dance as life long and hopes to continue to develop her skills.
